For carburetor and intake-manifold setups using approximately a 1-inch spacer. Stud overall length is 2.700 inches; 5/16-18 threads are specified. Verify the manifold thread, spacer and gasket stack, and thread engagement before ordering.

Engineering details

Through the carburetor and spacer.

The studs thread into the compatible intake manifold and extend through the spacer and carburetor mounting flange. Nuts and washers secure the assembly at the top.

Heat-treated chromoly studs.

The studs use heat-treated chromoly alloy steel for the carburetor mounting application.

Threads at both ends.

The lower threads engage the intake manifold; the upper threads accept the supplied nuts.

Check the complete stack height.

Account for the carburetor flange, spacer, gaskets and washers when checking engagement and clearance.

Is the carburetor spacer included?

No. This kit contains studs, nuts and washers. The carburetor, spacer, gaskets and intake manifold are not included.

Does a 1-inch spacer automatically confirm fit?

No. Also verify the 5/16-18 mounting threads, stud spacing, total stack height and available clearance.

What is the stud length?

The studs are 2.700 inches overall. Overall length is not the same as usable exposed height after installation.
