Why Bundle It

The 6.0L lifts heads long before anything else lets go, but a head stud upgrade alone leaves the bottom end on factory clamping force. If you already have the engine apart for head studs, the mains, rods, and balancer bolt are labour you are effectively getting for free. Doing it in one pass means one teardown, one gasket set, one alignment of everything to spec.

Head, main and accessory fasteners serve different mounting interfaces. Match every kit to the engine and joint it is intended to secure.

Keep component specifications separate.

Use the requirements for each included kit. A shared bundle does not make every bolt or stud the same size, material or tightening specification.

Follow the component procedure.

Prepare the mating surfaces and threads, and follow the instructions for each component. Do not apply one torque value or sequence to the entire bundle.

The included CP239 kit supplies four balancer bolts and four hardened parallel washers.

Are all included fasteners the same material?

No blanket material specification applies to the complete bundle. Use the specifications of the individual component kits.
