3.9L 4BT Cummins
1983–1998
PART # CP896-CP884
The 4BT earned its reputation by refusing to quit — so build it to match. This combo pairs our 3.9L 4BT head stud kit with our main stud kit, locking down both ends of the engine in a single upgrade. Head studs seal the cylinder head against boost and heat up top, while main studs stabilize the crankshaft main caps down below. Whether it's powering a swap build, a work truck, or an off-road rig, this is the foundation that holds up under pressure.
The smart choice for 4BT builders who want to do it once and do it right — seal the head and secure the bottom end in a single upgrade.

Material specification
The XOTIC 7200 head and main studs in this bundle have a published tensile-strength range of 220,000–240,000 psi. Tensile strength describes the material under tension; it is not an installed clamping-force or horsepower rating.
The linked ATRONA report records a 240,000 psi tensile result for a submitted stud tested in May 2020. This result applies to the submitted sample.
