They went in and seem to be working great the only thing I noticed was in the instructions there were a couple of repeated numbers

smaller m8 bolts on exhaust side of head make clearance issues for exhaust manifold gaskets. Also, if block isn't bottom tapped, the studs hit bottom of rocker arm assemblies.

I installed these studs a week ago. So far so good and I don’t expect it to go any other way. They came very well packaged, with clear installation instructions. The head studs are very well manufactured and are a for sure upgrade to do on your diesel engine. I highly recommend buying some Xotic head studs!

Works amazing and they feel nice and strong

I have these head studs in 2 different Cummins motors running better turbos and tunes. We put about 50k miles a year on each truck pulling trailers more often than not and these studs do an amazing job of keeping the head down and the gasket whole. I will be adding them to my next truck at my earliest convenience.

The price of these are really good! And they torqued up really nice too! Only thing is the steel is from china but still better than a head bolt.

This thread chasing set is a very high quality item. This set would be for SAE threads with 5 common thread sizes. They are cut very well so your threads will be spot on.

This set offers a good assortment if it has the sizes you need. There are other sets, too, and the individual sizes are available separately. I have some of the sets, and the quality across them has been consistent. I haven't had a chance to try all of the sizes, but so far the threads look to be cleanly cut.

I am rebuilding a 7.3 and will be putting it in an E-350 that I will be pulling a horse trailer with. These appear to be of excellent quality and are packaged with the threads well protected. I did not do destructive testing but these seem up to the intended task. Recommended.

No problem after few passes

Not sure what the difference is between this thread "chaser" and a tap. I ordered a same size tap from another company and they both looked exactly the same. The tap was also much less expensive than this chaser

I've owned and still own all kinds and levels of taps and thread chasers, from one time use garbage to top of the line expensive stuff. These are on par with some of the better stuff I have in terms of metal quality/hardness, and thread precision. I agree with others that for the price they should have case instead of a simple cardboard bubble pack but the quality of the tools is there otherwise.

I was skeptical because this was an unknown brand to me but the quality is on par with the more well known brand I'm used to based on my initial impressions. It's pretty obvious they have pretty strict quality control measures and hopefully they will expand their product line further. It is nice (although not necessary) that they include a socket and allen key.

The kit includes everything you need with clear and easy instructions. Price point make it even better!

Perfect fit. The studs are well made, and the threads are really solid. The material is strong and the performance has been great.
